Aston Villa Football Club wore their 2022/23 home kit for the first time during Saturday’s 4-0 pre-season win over Walsall.
The jersey is the English Premier League club’s first from new technical partner Castore. The Villans wore uniforms from Kappa over the last three seasons.
The Aston Villa 22/23 Castore home shirt features the club’s well-known claret and light blue primary colorway on a bespoke v-neck design. Embossed chevrons run along the front and back of the kit in recognition of Villa’s honors throughout the team’s 148-year history.
The Aston Villa crest is applied in silicone to give it a textured, three dimensional look. The Villa Lion is printed in sky blue on the outside upper back.
The Aston Villa 2022/23 home jersey will be worn with white shorts and light blue socks. Claret socks will be used as alternates.
Aston Villa kick off their Premier League season against promoted AFC Bournemouth on August 6.
