Chelsea Football Club today revealed the 2022/23 Nike home kit for its men’s and women’s teams.
The jersey is in the signature home blue of the six-time English Premier League and two-time UEFA Champions League winners. It pays tribute to legendary Chelsea FC manager Ted Drake.
This includes CFC’s nickname of ‘The Blues’ on the detailing of the shirt’s button. Drake led the adoption of the moniker instead of the club’s previous informal name of ‘The Pensioners’.
The Chelsea Lion that Drake helped introduce as the centerpiece of the club’s crest is represented on the jersey’s white Henley collar via a turquoise pattern.
The Chelsea FC 2022/23 Nike home uniform is completed with blue shorts and mainly white socks.
The Chelsea men’s team will debut their 22/23 home kit during their upcoming tour of the USA. The Blues will meet Club America, Charlotte FC, and Arsenal as they prepare for their first season under American-led ownership.
