The talent-rich Côte d’Ivoire men’s senior national football team wore its 2022/23 PUMA home kit for the first time during their recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Zambia.
The latest Ivory Coast primary jersey is in the African powerhouse’s traditional home orange with white accents. Its v-neck design and front tonal stripes are inspired by the jersey that Côte d’Ivoire wore when it won its first major championship – AFCON 1992.
The team’s nickname, Les Éléphants (The Elephants), is printed in white on the shirt’s nape. Two stars in the green of the Côte d’Ivoire national flag are embroidered above the Fédération Ivoirienne de Football crest in recognition of country’s 1992 and 2015 AFCON titles.
