Sweden Women’s EURO 2022 adidas Kits

Today, adidas and the Swedish Football Association released the Women’s National Team jersey for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 tournament in England this summer. Being one of the favorites in the upcoming championship, the national team sends a bold greeting to the opposing teams – in the jersey, there is a printed guide with a complete analysis of all players’ strengths and tactics.

The Swedish national team is stronger than ever when entering the arena in this summer’s tournament – the Women’s national team is ranked second in FIFA’s world ranking, and are one of the absolute favorites in UEFA Women’s EURO 2022. The new jersey celebrates the team’s progress and is also a gibe to the other teams, who can take part in a revealing analysis of the team and individual players, specifically created for their opponents this summer.

Our team is better than ever, and we enter the EURO’s with grit and confidence. Along with the jersey, the digital guide www.howtostopsweden.com is also released. The guide, which has been written by the national teams’ own head analyst Anders Eriksson, highlights 31 players, and advice on how the opposing teams should play them in order to have a chance to stop Sweden this summer.

This years’ football jersey is produced by adidas and the Swedish Football Association, emphasizing that the guide is also an expression of Sweden’s long tradition of transparency. ”Sweden is a country famous for its transparency and openness, and that’s very much manifested by this jersey and the guide. But the jersey is as much about just celebrating our national team – coming in as one of the favorites this summer, we’re looking to make it a long summer and come back with the gold”, says Helena Taube Rehnmark, Marketing and Sales Director at the Swedish Football Association.

The jersey traditionally goes in the color combination of blue and yellow. The design is inspired by Sweden’s sea coast, with a wavy silhouette around the neck that reflects the shape of Sweden’s coastline.
