South American club champions Palmeiras today dropped its 2022/23 home kit from PUMA Brasil. It will be worn for the team’s upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and Copa do Brasil runs.
The white jersey was released using the theme “Por Um Futuro Mais Verde” (For a Greener Future) and as part of PUMA’s Forever Better initiative.
Palmeiras’ 2022/23 away shirt embraces the sustainability cause by using raw, recycled yarn fabric. This is done via a process called ‘Bye Dye’ – PUMA’s answer to reducing water consumption. Undyed fabrics reduce the amount of water consumed in the creation process through to the elimination of dyes and bleaches.
The Palmeiras 22/23 shirt features Naturale (the natural color of yarn) as its base color. “Por Um Futuro Mais Verde” appears in a sublimated print to form thin lines on its front. The kit has a regular fit with a rounded neck. Double-sided fabric with mesh construction ensures greater breathability while PUMA dryCELL technology offers maximum moisture absorption.
