Gabon 2022 Kappa Home, Away and Third Kits

Kappa and the Gabonese Football Federation (Fédération Gabonaise de Football) have launched the first three official Kombat Pro jerseys of their collaboration – The Gabon 2022 home, away and third kits.

The new shirts will be worn by Les Panthères (The Panthers) during the Africa Cup of Nations Total Energies Cameroon 2021, which will take place from the 9th of January to the 6th of February 2022.

For the creation of the Gabon 2022 kits, Kappa and FEGAFOOT have joined forces to design jerseys combining the DNA of the brand, elegance and technology, but also the history and identity of the Gabonese selection. Gabon’s players will benefit from the KOMBAT PRO 2022 jersey, which features Kappa’s trademark Kombat Pro System technology and is synonymous with an ultra-resistant, elastic and breathable material.

The Gabon 2022 Kappa home shirt features yellow, the traditional color of the Gabonese national team. The front of the jersey incorporates the shadow of the panther, symbol of the country and the selection, via a tonal effect on the front of the jersey. The pattern used to represent the panther is taken from the lower part of the new FEGAFOOT logo. The same pattern used for the panther is also present on the sleeves of the kit.

The Kappa Omini logo appears in blue monochrome on the chest and sleeves. The FEGAFOOT crest is applied on the heart side with a 3D silicone patch while the Gabonese flag is applied in transfer on the back of the jersey.

Gabon’s 2022 Kappa KOMBAT PRO away jersey is predominantly white and has yellow contrasting sleeves. The third kit is a nod to the Gabonese flag, which symbolizes the forest, the sun and the sea. The front of the shirt features the Gabonese flag on a diagonal line, while the pattern seen on the other two jerseys is also included.

Gabon will kick off its Africa Cup of Nations campaign against Comoros on the 10th of January before facing Ghana on the 14th January and Morocco on the 18th January.
