Reissue: Boca Juniors 1981 adidas Home Jersey

adidas Originals has released a reissue of the iconic Boca Juniors 1981 home jersey.

The kit was worn by the legendary Diego Maradona and the rest of the Boca Juniors team that won the 1981 Metropolitano championship. It is used as the design inspiration for Boca’s 2021/22 home shirt.

The jersey is a near exact recreation of the Boca Junior’s 1981 home kit using modern fabrics. Maradona’s iconic number 10 is printed in white on the back of the shirt in the same font used some forty years ago.

The adidas Originals Trefoil is embroidered on the right breast while the Boca 1981 crest appears on the left.
