Manchester United Football Club today unveiled their third kit for the 2021/22 English Premier League, EFL Cup, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League seasons.
According to the club: This season’s third kit is inspired by the icons of our past, and the icons of right now. As the likes of Eric Cantona and George Best have cemented their status as legends, now is the time for our players to make their mark.
Fit for kings and queens, this season’s third shirt pays homage to the away shirt from the 1993/94 season when United retained the Premier League title and also won the FA Cup to complete the club’s first-ever Double.
The Manchester United 21/22 third jersey uses adidas Football’s popular Condivo 21 v-neck design. It combines two shades on blue on its allover graphic with yellow adding contrast via shoulder stripes, inside neckline taping and sponsor logos. The adidas logo on the chest cleverly combines blue and yellow.
Cup versions of the new Red Devils’ third shirt feature Manchester United’s 2021/22 player name and numbering font in yellow. Premier League versions of the kit bear the competition’s official print in white.
The Manchester United 21/22 adidas third strip is completed with dark blue shorts and either dark blue or yellow socks.
