Recent English Premier League campaigners Huddersfield Town AFC have released their Umbro 2021/22 home kit.
The jersey is in the traditional blue and white stripes of The Terriers with a design that is a modern interpretation of the FA Cup-winning Huddersfield team of 1922. The win over Preston North End at Stamford Bridge is the club’s sole triumph in the competition.
Elements of the 1921/22 Huddersfield Town shirt on the 2021/22 incarnation of the jersey include wide stripes and a rounded collar with v-shaped opening at its front.
A tonal Yorkshire rose is placed between the Huddersfield Town crest and the Umbro logo. It pays tribute to the Yorkshire rose that was part of the 1922 FA Cup Final HTAFC kit.
The surnames of the Huddersfield Town starter for the match are printed on the inside shirt’s neckline. Three golden stars are embroidered on the kit’s nape in recognition of the club’s 1924, 1925 and 1926 First Division (now the Premier League) titles.
White shorts and black socks with a white cuffs complete the Huddersfield Town 2021/22 Umbro home uniform. They are in the same colors used during the 1921/22 season.
