The Uruguay men’s national football team debuted its PUMA 2021/22 home kit during Thursday night’s FIFA World Cup 2021 qualifier against Paraguay.
The home jersey was unveiled along with the 21/22 La Celeste (The Sky Blue) away shirt by record Uruguay goalscorer Luis Suárez on Twitter earlier in the week.
Uruguay’s 2021/22 home kit uses a new v-neck PUMA template in the team’s famous light blue. The stripes of the two-time FIFA World Cup champion’s national flag are placed on the jersey’s side panels and under arms.
The Uruguay 21/22 away shirt is mainly white a PUMA Cat logo and the word “URUGUAY” printed on its mid-chest. The Asociación Uruguaya de Fútbol (AUF badge is repeated across the front of the kit via sublimation. Stips of Uruguay’s primary sky blue add detail at the shoulders, chest, waist and sleeve cuffs.
