Flamengo 2021/21 adidas Away Kit

Reigning Campeonato Brasileiro Série A champion CR Flamengo has released its 2021/22 away kit from technical partner adidas Brasil.
The white and red jersey celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the club’s Intercontinental Cup win over Liverpool in 1981. The title remains Flamengo’s sole Club World Cup title.

The shirt is a modern interpretation of the kit worn by the likes of Zico, Tita and Júnior on December 13th, 1981 in Yokohama, Japan against The Reds. Flamengo’s mascot is represented in an Origami version on the outside upper back of the jersey in recognition of the location of the victory.

Sublimated Japanese-inspired graphics are included on the sleeves and the shorts that accompany the shirt. The player name and number printings are based on Japanese comic graphics.

The Flamengo 2021/22 adidas alternate kit joins the team’s new home strip in its latest match range.
