Los Angeles Football Club today revealed its adidas away kit for the 2021 and 2022 Major League Soccer and US Open Cup seasons. The popular club’s 2020/21 home jersey will be worn again for the club’s 2021 run.
According to Los Angeles FC: The LAFC community is the heart of the Club, and those in Los Angeles who give back, provide care for others and are essential workers are the gold.
This uniform is for them. As the kits were unveiled, the new jerseys were gifted to essential workers throughout L.A. including teachers, emergency personnel from Los Angeles Fire Department Station 15, medical personnel from Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center and Downey Medical Center, farm workers from Monte Vista Farms, and others.
The Heart of Gold Community Kit features a soft gold hue, representative of the community’s resilience, conductivity, radiant warmth and its shine. This latest edition features new kit sponsor FLEX Power Tools prominently in the middle and is adorned with Golden Boot Partner Target on the right sleeve. A further nod to Los Angeles can be found on the cuff of each sleeve, written out in gold lettering so the city is always in full view.
