adidas Football and the Svenska Fotbollförbundet (SvFF) have dropped the Sweden 2021/22 away kit. It will be worn by recalled veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimović and the rest of the Swedish men’s national team during their upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifier at Kosovo.
The shirt is the first Sweden jersey to feature pinstripes since the team’s EURO 2012 Umbro home kit. The stripes are in the yellow of the country’s national flag on a dark blue base.
Yellow is also used for the sleeve cuff and v-neck collar trim and adidas shoulder stripes. “Sverige” (Sweden) is printed in yellow on the nape of the jersey in a retro-inspired font.
Yellow shorts and navy blue socks complete the uniform that Sweden will wear at this summer’s UEFA EURO 2020 tournament and as their alternate strip for their World Cup qualification campaign.
