Estudiantes de La Plata today revealed their 2021 home and away kits from Under Armour Argentina. The club says that they pay tribute to their club’s mystique and legacy of their “Escuela de Leones” (School of Lions) academy.
The jerseys are in Estudiantes’ famed home red and white vertical stripes and this year’s clean away white.
Both carry rear waistline labels celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of Estudiantes de la Plata’s 2006 Primera Argentina Apertura championship. The tags celebrate Estudiante’s manager from 1965 to 1970, Osvaldo Zubeldía.
His quote, “A la gloria no se llega por un camino de rosas” (You cannot reach glory by a path of roses) appears on the outside of the labels.
“Campeón del Mundo” is printed on the lower back of the 2021 kits in recognition of Estudiantes de la Plata 1968 Intercontinental Cup title.
