Three-time AFC Champions League winners Pohang Steelers have unveiled their 2021 kit range from PUMA Football. The popular Korean K League 1 club returns to the German sportswear brand for the first time since 2005.
Pohang Steelers’ traditional red and black hooped jersey used the launch concept “NEW STRIPES” for the 2021 season. The pinstripes within the hoops are intended to represent the night view of the Pohang Steelworks factory reflected in the Hyeongsan River.
The Pohang Steelers 2021 PUMA continues the recent club custom of using cyan blue on its away shirt.
The Steelers’ alternate kit for their upcoming K League 1 season is mainly white with cyan blue details throughout. The Asian Champions League away jersey is predominantly in the bright shade of blue with white used for its sleeves and shoulders.
Pohang Steelers’ five K League titles are recognized by a series of stars above the club rest on their 2021 kits.
All three shirts use a new v-neck design from PUMA.
