Atlético Nacional wore its 2021 Nike home kit for the first time during Sunday’s Colombian Categoría Primera A win over Santa Fe.
The shirt’s look is based on the v-neck jersey worn by the club when it won the 1981 league title under legendary manager Osvaldo Zubeldía.
The Atlético Nacional 2021 home kit uses a new v-neck design from Nike Football. The customary green and white vertical stripes on its front are of smaller width than those on Atlétic’s primary shirts of the last few years in order to emulate those on the 1981 jersey. A large area on the back of the kit is in all white to accommodate player name and number printings.
