Former Italian Serie A team Palermo Football Club has released a 120th Anniversary kit from technical sponsor Kappa.
The commemorative I Rosanero (The Pink and Blacks) jersey’s design is based on the blue and white halved kit worn by Anglo Palermitan Athletic and Football Club in the early 1900s. The club changed its name to Palermo Foot-Ball Club and adopted its famous pink and black strips in 1907.
The crest used on the shirt is a combination of the current Palermo FC badge and the first two of the club’s history.
Palermo’s pink and black are used on the kit’s retro-styled drawstring collar and sleeve cuffs.
Palermo FC will wear its 120th Anniversary Kappa kit on December 23rd in Italian Serie C (third tier) action against Bari.
