Japanese J1 League bottom club Shimizu S-Pulse has released its 2021 home and away kits from PUMA.
The four-time Emperor’s Cup winning side will wear jerseys inspired by the culture of Shizuoka Prefecture for their 2021 campaign. The shirts use PUMA’s global design concept – “CRAFTED FROM CULTURE”.
The pattern of tea leaves inspired by the region’s tea industry appears across the front and back of the orange home and white away kits. A wireframe globe appears on the right side of the shirts in keeping with S-Pulse’s uniform tradition. The club says that the result is a piece that incorporates the culture and traditions of its hometown.
The Shimizu S-Pulse 2021 home and away jerseys are the first to use a new v-neck design from PUMA with contrasting sleeve cuffs and shoulder flashes.
Shimizu S-Pulse closes its ongoing J1 League season at Gamba Osaka on December 19th.
