Reissue: Denmark 1986 hummel World Cup Home Kit

Dansk Boldspil-Union (DBU) technical sponsor hummel has reissued the Denmark 1986 FIFA World Cup home jersey.

The groundbreaking and now iconic jersey has become a cult classic among soccer fans with used versions selling for over $350 online.

hummel has faithfully recreated the kit worn by Danish football greats such as Morten Olsen, Michael Laudrup and Preben Elkjær with their latest shirt reissue. The 2020 version of the jersey’s design and silhouette is identical to the kit worn in the mid-1980s with its pinstriped red and white halves and sleeves. The ribbed v-neck that went on the become a stand on soccer jerseys is also reproduced along with hummel’s chevron sleeve stripes of some thirty four years ago.

The DBU crest of the era is embroidered on the left breast while a classic hummel logo appears on the right.
