The highly-rated Māori All Blacks debuted their stunning adidas 2021 home kit during Saturday’s win over Moana Pasifika in Hamilton, New Zealand.
Adidas Rugby describes the jersey as “A display of devotion.” The Māori All Blacks 2021 rugby jersey bears an eye-catching allover graphic created by artist Dave Burke and the team’s Māori Cultural Adviser, Luke Crawford. Symbolising commitment, the flowing lines display a hint of red on the chest and shoulders, the first time the sacred colour has been used in an All Blacks kit.
The shirt’s adidas Aeroready soft fabric is designed to stand up to hits on the pitch and keep you comfortable in the stands. The Māori All Blacks 2021 adidas kit is made from Parley Ocean Plastic yarn that’s upcycled from plastic waste.
The jersey features a crewneck design with “Nunquam Dormio” (“I Never Sleep” in Latin) embossed on its necktape. “Tūturu” is printed in white on the outside back of the collar.
