Malaysia 2021/22 Nike Home and Away Kits

Nike and the Football Association of Malaysia unveiled the home and away kits that will be worn by Harimau Malaya (Malayan Tigers) and the rest of the federation’s men’s and women’s teams over the next two years.

The Malaysia 2021/22 home and away kits are the eight from Nike following offerings in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018. The yellow and black primary jersey is the first Nike Malaysia home shirt to have a collar. The kti is the first to not have blue, white or red color in its colorway.

According to the FAM, the Malaysia 2021/22 Nike home jersey continues to preserve the heritage and evolution of the national football team by maintaining its traditional yellow color through a modern design.

Nike Malaysia Sports Marketing Chief, Ernest Rodrigues said: “By keeping the FAM logo on the left side of the chest, the iconic yellow color of this home jersey is matched by the presence of black on three parts, namely the latest Nike collar, sleeves and pattern on the side for show more neatness.”

Malaysia’s 2021/22 away jersey has a black base with five yellow diagonal stripes on its front. The look is inspired by the Jalur Gemilang (Malaysian national flag) with an emphasis on the yellow of its crescent and14-point star.

“This away jersey reflects the youthful spirit and expressive culture of the national team while at the same time paying homage to the traditionally rich Malayan Tigers,” added Ernest.

The Malaysia men’s senior national team returns to competitive action in FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifying action next year.
