Last season’s Indian Super League regular season champions FC Goa has revealed their striking 2020/21 home and away kits.
The Gaurs new jerseys take their inspiration from the Konkani (the native language along India’s west coast) word for “fire”, “uzzo.”
According to the club “The new home kit sees a fire pattern, inspired by fire (Uzzo) being woven into the famous bright orange of the FC Goa shirt. The pattern gives the shirt an even greater meaning as the team looks to lay a charge on the Indian Super League crown.”
The fire inspiration is also seen on the away shirt via orange graphics on its lower front and sleeves. The club says that the alternate kit’s black base “signifies strength and authority.”
FC Goa kick off their 20/21 ISL season against Bengaluru FC on November 22nd.
