Corinthians 2020/21 Nike Third Kit

Published on

Campeonato Brasileiro Série A giants Sport Club Corinthians Paulista have released their 2020/21 Nike third kit.

Timão’s (The Great Team’s) latest change shirt pays tribute to the touring Corinthian Football Club of London, England that inspired its founders to create their own team in 1910.

This is accomplished via the use of a cross inspired by the Saint George’s Cross of the English national flag on the front of the jersey. The brown, light blue and pink of Corinthian FC’s successor Corinthian-Casuals forms the colorway of the kit.

The shield used by Corinthians Paulista between 1919 and 1939 is used in place of the club’s modern badge on the kit. It was designed by Corinthians player and painter Francisco Rebolo Gonsales.

The Latin phrase “E duobus unum” (Of two is one) is printed on the shirt’s inside neckline to recognize Corinthians Paulista’s founding some one hundred and ten years ago.
