PUMA and the Österreichischer Fußball-Bund (ÖFB) have released the Austria 2020/21 home kit.
“With the presentation of the jersey, preparations for the European Championships (UEFA EURO 2021) now begin. Together with our fans, we are looking forward to the tournament in the coming year,” said Bernhard Neuhold, Managing Director of ÖFB Wirtschaftsbetriebe GmbH.
The design of the jersey is in elegant red with contrasting white sleeves and elements such as the Austria lettering on the rear neck. The chest is emblazoned with the ÖFB crest which merges tradition and a visual identity for the digital age. Ten eagle wings symbolize the unity of the nine regional national associations of the ÖFB and the country’s Bundesliga.
An all-over graphic inspired by traditional ‘Österreich’ Alpine outfits appears on the front of the kit. The stylized pattern is inspired by the Vienna Secession art nouveau style movement of the late 19th century.
The Austria 20/21 home shirt uses PUMA dryCELL technology that quickly transports moisture away from the body and ensures a high level of comfort.
The Austria men’s senior national football team will debut their new home uniform when they meet Romania in UEFA Nations League action next week.
