Erreà English Teams 2020 Retro Kits

With the restart of Premier League and Championship football, Erreà Sport is making a tribute to the birthplace of football by launching a series of retro football shirts for the English teams wearing their brand.

The collection was created as the result of a stylistic experiment by their design department to create a skilful mix of a retro look with highly technical fabrics and the sartorial skills of a true sportswear manufacturer.

With this project, Erreà Sport is celebrating tradition and paying tribute to all of its English Teams. The clubs in question are:

• Carlisle United
• Cheltenham Town
• Crawley Town
• FC United of Manchester
• Grimsby Town
• Lincoln City
• Port Vale
• Rochdale AFC
• Walsall FC

The idea was conceived by thier in-house research and development department and finds its inspiration deep in the roots of football history, when in the late nineteenth century the pioneers of the world’s favourite sport would take to the field wearing shirts made by the textile industries from the heart of England.

The retro look, with side vents, button-down collars, mitred cuffs and black sleeve plackets, is perfectly suited to Erreà’s innovative,
high-performce B-Hive fabric, characterized by a special honeycomb weave and a yarn that provides remarkable breathability and
extreme lightness.

Each shirt is created through 24 different processing steps, a precious tribute to a glorious past and an original and versatile inspiration that brings elegance and modernity to the stadium.
