VfL Bochum 2020 ‘Back in Black’ Nike Jersey

Former German Bundesliga club VfL Bochum 1848 have released a special edition “Back In Black” Nike jersey. It will be worn when the team resumes their 2019/20 2. Bundesliga season against 1. FC Heidenheim in May.

The shirt is based on Nike’s Park VI template. It is all black with white Nike and sponsor logos. The usually blue and white VfL Bochum crest is black and white on the kit.

Bochum’s primary shirt sponsor Tricorp have agreed to let the club use the logo of non-profit BOCHUMER GEMEINSCHAFT (Bochum Community) on the “Back in Black” jersey.

“We can only face the challenges of this new reality together. Partnership and cohesion play an important role in this. It was therefore clear to us from the start that we should support this VfL initiative as much as possible,” commented Nina Adams, Managing Director of Tricorp Workwear.

Each VfL Bochum 2020 Nike “Back in Black” kit is individually numbered via a print on the outside upper back.
