San Jose Earthquakes have released their away jersey for their 2020 MLS and US Open Cup seasons.
The shirt is called the “408 Edition Kit”. Its name is based on the first area code of San Jose.
The city of San Jose’s flag serves as the design inspiration for the Quakes’ new alternate jersey. The banner’s white is used for shirt’s based while its blue and yellow bands appear on chest. The kit’s primary sponsor logo is screen printed below the lower blue band.
The San Jose Earthquakes’ home blue is used at the sleeve cuffs, inside waistline and for the adidas stripes on the right shoulder.
Nine silver stars are printed on the inside of the rear waistline in recognition of the club’s status as one of Major League Soccer’s founding teams from 1996.
A stylized print of “SAN JOSE” is printed on the signoff area of the adidas EQT jersey.
