New York Red Bulls 2020 ‘Dark Mode’ adidas Away Kit
Major League Soccer originals New York Red Bulls will wear a 2020 adidas away jersey that celebrates their original colors.
Called the Red Bulls’ ‘Dark Mode’ kit, the shirt is mainly black with red details. The black base is inspired by the black stripes of the then New York New Jersey Metrostars home jerseys of 1997 to 2006.
A red and white jocktag also pays homage to the New York Red Bulls’ original colors and kit designs.
Nine silver stars are printed on the inside drop hem of the kit. This feature is only found on the 2020 jerseys of MLS’ founding clubs.
The jersey uses adidas’ 1990s-inspired EQT design. The template brings back adidas’ right shoulder stripes and wide v-neck collar of almost three decades ago.
The New York Red Bulls 2020 adidas Dark Mode away jersey will be available at at World Soccer Shop, Lovell Soccer, Pro:Direct Soccer, UK Soccer Shop and Kitbag.
