FC Tokyo 2020 Umbro Home and Away Kits

Last season’s Japanese J1 League runners-ups FC Tokyo have launched their home and away kits for their 2020 domestic and AFC Champions League seasons.

The new jerseys are bespoke designs by Umbro Japan for the popular club. The ACL shirts are the same as those that will be used in J1, the J. Legue Cup and Emperor’s Cup but with a different primary sponsor and no secondard sponsors. They also have dotted vertical pinstripes added to them.

The FC Tokyo 2020 Umbro home kit in the team’s customary red and blue. The latest edition of the shirt has vertical stripes comprised on pin dots.

The club says that the continuous arrangement of the pin dot stripes reflects FC Tokyo’s a strong desire to be a team that continues to win without interruption.

Grey pin dots form a subtle pattern on the mainly white FC Tokyo 2020 away kit’s front and back. They are intended to represent the cool and calm player who is determined to fight for victory while playing away matches. 

 FC Tokyo return to competitive action in late January in the AFC Champions League playoffs.
