Lille OSC 75th Anniversary New Balance Kit

Published on

Last season’s French Ligue 1 runners-ups Lille OSC will wear a special edition 75th Anniversary kit during Saturday’s match against Dijon at the Stade Pierre Mauroy.

The shirt is inspired by the first jersey worn by LOSC in 1944 after it was formed from the merger of Olympique Lillois and SC Fives. It uses a classic polo collared design from Lille’s technical partner New Balance Football on an all white base.

A claret chevron adorns the chest area miniature Fleur de Lys’ appear within the chevron. A larger version of the symbol is used for the kit’s crest.

Lille OSC’s shirt sponsors have agreed to allow the 75th Anniversary kit to remain free of large commercial logos in order to respect the club’s heritage and history.

Only the original logo of main shirt sponsor Boulanger from 1954 is used on the sleeve. A subtle white version of the New Balance logo is printed under the jersey’s crest. Les Dogues’ 75th Anniversary logo is applied just under the back collar area.

Only 1,944 units of the Lille OSC 75th Anniversary New Balance kit will be available for purchase.
