New Balance have revealed the 2019/20 away kit of UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool Football Club.
The new Reds jersey draws graphic inspiration from the iconic street signs visible around Anfield stadium. The navy trim also features the signature of Bob Paisley OBE on the inside of the neck, with the collar construction inspired by the Club’s 1977 European Cup winning strip, worn on that victorious night in Rome, with Paisley at the helm.
A bonded chest seam gives the jersey comfort, while a mesh structure across the shoulders aids breathability and airflow. A ventilation zone is integrated into the front body fabric.
The Liverpool FC 2019/20 kit is completed with navy shorts, and white socks complimented with a lower navy section and team red trim. The goalkeeper kit, in Irish green with matching socks is engineered in line with the outfield players’ jerseys.
General Manager of New Balance Football, Kenny McCallum said: “Unveiling a Liverpool Football Club kit is always a proud moment for New Balance. Next season’s away strip is a fantastic combination of modern performance, innovation and tradition. It’s a real nod to the Club’s incredible history and our design philosophy.”
Liverpool FC forward and New Balance sponsored pro, Sadio Mané said: “Liverpool Football Club has the best travelling support in football and I cannot wait to run out on to the pitch wearing the kit for the first time.”
The strip is part of New Balance’s “Live it” campaign for 2019/20, which celebrates the legendary spirit that unites Liverpool FC fans across the world.
