Sporting Kansas City 2019 adidas Retro Night Kit

Major League Soccer originals Sporting Kansas City have dropped the 2019 edition of their annual Retro Night adidas jersey.

The kit will be worn duing the pre-game of SKC’s May 5th home match against defending MLS champions Atlanta United.

The Sporting Kansas City 2019 Retro Night jersey celebrates the club’s legacy dating back to its inception as the Kansas City Wiz in 1996. The colorful stripes that were a fixture on the team’s uniforms from 1996 to 2000 are recognized via band of them on the chest and upper back.

The Kansas City Wiz crest appears on the left breast while the current Sporting KC badge is applied on the right sleeve.

“96” is printed on the front of the jersey in an ode to SKC’s and MLS’ first season in 1996.
