Andorra are the latest beneficiaries of the UEFA Kit Assistance scheme intended to help Europe’s smaller football federations outfit themselves over the next few years.
The teams of the Federació Andorrana de Futbol will don uniforms from Italian sportswear firm Macron until 2022. The Andorran 2018/20 kits will be the first of two sets of strips worn as part of the program.
The Andorra 2018/20 Macron home, away and third kits all boast the nation’s first ever bespoke designs. They are in the traditional home red and away blue of the Tricolors. In another first, Andorra will have a third kit. The uniform is mainly white with red, blue and yellow detailing.
Andorra return to competitive action in the a 2018 UEFA Nations League group that also includes Latvia, Kazakhstan and Georgia this autumn. The team earned credible results with 0-0 draws against Cape Verde and UAE over the summer.
