New Balance Football has officially revealed the new 2018/19 Celtic FC third kit, offering a modern design in tribute to the rich history of the club’s origins.
The jersey has been launched as part of Celtic FC’s 2018/19 campaign, “Only the Bold”, representing that community has always been a big part of the Scottish Football Club. The Bold Bhoys have always been a family club; as one Club, they face every challenge, always boldly.
The Bhoys 18/19 third kit has been engineered using innovative NB DRY technology. The jersey wicks moisture away from the skin to help keep players fresh and dry from the first to the final whistle.
The front of the jersey features a bold graphic, which fades from the main black into a vibrant Hi-Lite Yellow, a colour scheme and graphic taking inspiration from their past famous bumble-bee kits. The shirt features a V-neck collar as well as top shoulder bonded tape and a satin stitch appliqued club crest.
Black shorts complete the Celtic FC 2018/18 New Balance third kit. It features a concealed stretch fabric insert, which also runs down the side seam of the shirt. The hooped socks feature an elasticated ankle zone and rib Achilles region with cushioned protection. An additional cushioned heel zone with a vented cushioned footbed and toe section have been designed to help players play with power, comfort and extra support.
General Manager of New Balance Football, Kenny McCallum said: “We’re really pleased with the entire NB Celtic FC kit collection for 2018/19. The kits all reflect the strong heritage of the club, but also deliver high performance quality so that the team can perform at their best on the pitch. The third kit is a unique and standout design that we’re sure fans will really like.”
Celtic FC player Scott Sinclair, said: “Myself and the rest of the team are big fans of the new kit. It definitely stands out and we’re sure we’ll see a lot of fans wearing this one.”
