Olympique de Marseille 2018/19 PUMA Home, Away and Third Kits

Former European champions Olympique de Marseille unveiled their 2018/19 home, away and third kits from new technical partner PUMA on Wednesday. All of OM’s new look jerseys will be available at World Soccer Shop, Kitbag, UK Soccer Shop, Subside Sports and Lovell Soccer.

According to the popular French Ligue 1 powerhouse: simple and uncluttered, the 2018/19 home shirt uses on the iconic white and sky blue of Olympique de Marseille.

The sleeves are a reference to the sea, designed as major element of the PUMA x OM collection. The collar sports a blue cross on its outside neck that pays homage the city of Marseille’s flag.

Football is the heart of Marseille. This was the guiding creative idea for the Olympique de Marseille 18/19 away shirt. Marseille is a football ground. The city vibrates and comes alive around the passion that brings together all generations.

This idea surges through the design of the blue “pulse,” extending onto the front of the jersey. This heartbeat represents the fervor and passion of football that defines the city and its supporters so well. The combination of black and blue brings a contrast to all the details of the iconic jersey.

Inspired by the movement of the waves of the sea, the Olympique de Marseille’s 2018/19 PUMA third jersey is characterized by different shades of the light blue. It has a rounded neck, new PUMA design similar to that of the new home kit.

Ligue 1 champions on nine occasions, OM kick off their 2018/19 pre-season next week. The preparation run will include meetings with the likes of FC Nantes, Villarreal, Real Betis and Sporting Portugal.
