German Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach have returned to PUMA following a twenty six year run with outfitters (most recently Kappa since 2013).
Die Fohlen (The Foals) donned kits from PUMA during their successful 1976 to 1992 period that say them win the last of their Bundesliga titles, DFB-Pokal and UEFA Cup (now the Europa League titles).
Borussia Mönchengladbach donned their 2018/19 PUMA home and away kits during Sunday’s training session at Borussia Park.
Both shirts uses new modern crewneck designs from PUMA. The home jersey is in Mönchengladbach’s famous white with dark green accenting at its collars, sleeves and shoulders, The way shirt combines black and dark green via a contemporary burnout effect. “DIE FOHLEN” is printed on the signoff areas of both kits.
Borussia Mönchengladbach will wear their 2018/19 PUMA home and away kits for the first time during upcoming pre-season fixtures against the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Real Betis and Southampton.
