Atlético de Madrid 2018/19 Nike Home Kit

Nike Football has released the Atlético de Madrid home kit for their 2018/19 Spanish La Liga, Copa del Rey and UEFA Champions League seasons. It will be on sale at World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports, UK Soccer Shop,  Pro:Direct Soccer, Lovell Soccer and Kitbag.

“Over the past few years, something special has been going on at Atlético de Madrid,” says Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director. “It’s a club that has shown what you can achieve when the fans, coaches and players are all totally committed and move together as one. We really wanted to celebrate this unique energy with their new home kit.”

The passion of the Atlético fans is world famous, and is a key factor behind the stunning recent achievements — both in domestic and continental competition. The union of team and supporters is articulated in the Atletico Madrid 2018/19 Nike home kit through a joining of the club’s traditional red and white stripes with a blue pattern rising up from the hemline.

In ode to Atletico’s never say die attitude, demonstrated by shrewd and innovative tactics, the shirt’s offset stripes create a vivid pattern at its center. As an outer pride feature, a Spanish flag adorns the rear of the neckline while blue shorts and red socks complement the jersey.

Nike say that the kit is designed to reflect the core values that continue to fuel Atlético de Madrid’s success: passion, loyalty and constant evolution.
