To celebrate the 115th anniversary of its history, the Dutch Eredivisie club Heracles Almelo, in collaboration with the technical partner Acerbis, has created a special collector’s jersey. Only 115 units of the limited edition and numbered shirt have been made.
The Heracles Almelo 115th Anniversary Acerbis jersey is made of fabric reminiscent of the texture of the material used to make the football shirts in the early 1900s. It has a retro Henley neckline with four buttons. The embroidered Heracles crest on the chest is in the shape of a heart and is inspired by the first badge from the early years of the club.
The inner neck design details celebrate the anniversary of the club with the inscription “1903 -2018” and the team’s current crest. The same style and fabric is also used for the yellow and black goalkeeper’s kit. The lower right part of each jersey is numbered from 1 to 115.
The Heracles Almelo 115th Anniversary commemorative uniform will be worn on Sunday, 29 April, 2018 when the club meets FC Utrecht at the Polman Stadium in Almelo for its final home match of the 2017/18 season.
