Estudiantes de La Plata debuted their 2018 away kit during their 0-1 Superliga Argentina loss to Godoy Cruz on Sunday.
The six-time Primera División champions new alternate shirt uses a bespoke, 1990s-inspired design from Umbro Argentina.
The deep orange jersey has a classic, ribbed v-neck with a white insert at its bottom. White is also used for its inside neckline, inner sleeve cuffs and front piping. Thin stripes in a darker shade of orange run vertically along the front of the kit.
“Campéon del Mundo” (Champion of the World) is printed in white the lower back of the new EDLP alternate shirt in recognition of the club’s 1968 Intercontinental Cup win.
