One of a handful of professional soccer clubs outside of South America sponsored by Brazilian sportswear firm Penalty, Shonan Bellmare will return to the Japanese J1 League for the 2018 season after a year in the second division.

Shonan Bellmare’s 2018 Penalty home and away kits were recently launched. The new jerseys are the team’s fiftieth anniversary shirts since they were founded as Towa Real Estate SC in 1968.

The accents on the fiftieth anniversary shirt include striking sashes on the front at back with a tonal diamond pattern in them, matching shoulder stripes and a classic overlapping collar.

Shonan Bellmare’s 2018 away shirt maintains the team’s recent tradition of using white alternate jerseys. Last season’s J2 champions bright green and blue appear via chest bands and stripes just above the sleeve cuffs. Tonal bands of pinstripes run along the front and back of the kit.

Shonan Bellmare kick off their 2018 league run against fellow promoted side V-Varen Nagasaki on February 24th.
