Notable absentees from 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, Ghana will return to action in their PUMA 2018/19 home kit in March of next year when they meet Kenya in an AFCON 2019 qualifier.
The Ghana 2018/19 home kit is mainly red with yellow sleeves. It uses a new PUMA design featuring a rounded neck with ribbed inserts in the colors of the Ghanaian national flag on its sides.
A West African design is incorporated into the fabric in the shirt’s chest area along with the Black Star of Africa from which the team takes its nickname. Authentic versions of the kit are made of PUMA’s new evoKNIT fabric. Replica jerseys are constructed of the firm’s dryCell material.
Featuring English Premier League stars such as Christian Atsu (Newcastle United), André Ayew (West Ham) and Danny Amartey (Leicester City), Ghana finished behind Egypt and Uganda in their World Cup qualification group.
