QPR 1967 League Cup 50th Anniversary Commemorative Kit

Published on

Well-supported London side Queens Park Rangers Football Club today revealed a special commemorative kit celebrating the 50th Anniversary of their 1967 English Football League title (the sole cup won in QPR’s 131 year history).

Only 500 units of the limited edition kit will be produced. Fifty percent of the proceeds from the sale of each boxed shirt will go to the newly established QPR ex-players association, The Forever R’s Club.

The Queens Park Rangers 1967 League Cup 50th Anniversary kit emulates the all white look for by the then third division Rs when they upset heavily favored West Brom 3-2 to the old Wembley Stadium.

Made by current QPR kit provided DryWorld (they will switch to Errea for the 2017/18 season), the jersey has a series of subtle hoops containing the names of the members of the 1967 team. It is matched with all white shorts and socks.

Queens Park Rangers will don the special edition kit when they host Cardiff City FC at Loftus Road Stadium in Round 35 of the 2016/17 Championship season.
