The Egyptian Football Association have unveiled the adidas home and away kits that The Pharoahs will wear at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
Seven-time African champions Egypt are back in the tournament for the first time since winning it in 2010. They will wear a home kit in their traditional red. The shirt has a fair amount of black via its shoulders and sleeves along with a white v-neck collar. A subtle modern grid pattern appears on its front.
The Egypt AFCON 2017 away jersey uses the same design as the home shirt with an off-white base. Like the Egypt 2017/18 home kit, its sleeves and shoulder areas are black.
Featuring well-known players such as Mohamed El Nenny (Arsenal), Mohamed Salah (AS Roma) and Ahmed El Mohamady (Hull City), Egypt are pooled with Ghana, Mali and Uganda in the group stage of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
