Real Madrid Add 2016 FIFA World Champions Badge to Kits

Real Madrid Club de Fútbol defeated Kashima Antlers 4-2 in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2016 on Sunday to claim their fifth world championship.

The victory gave the Spanish La Liga powerhouse the honor of adding the official FIFA World Champions Badge to their match jerseys from today until the 2017 edition of the World Club Cup. The golden badge was presented to Los Blancos in the awards ceremony following the match against Kashima at Yokohama International Stadium.

Real Madrid technical partner adidas has already launched updated versions of the club’s 2016/17 home, away and third kits bearing the FIFA World Champions Badge on their upper right chests. They will be available at World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports, UK Soccer Shop and Kitbag.
