2016/17 Kits

Senegal 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Home and Away Kits

The Fédération Sénégalaise de Football has signed a two-year deal with UAE-based Romai Sports following the end of their twelve-year deal with PUMA.

The Senegal men’s senior national team will debut their first Romai kits in the form of their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations home and away jerseys when they meet the likes of Algeria, Tunisia and Zimbabwe in January.

The new kits use a slimfit, crewneck design from Romai in the traditional home green and away white of the Senegalese. The primary shirt features a print of a traditional West African graphic on its chest.

The alternate jersey is a bit more eye-catching thanks to a print of a roaring like in Senegal’s national color on its front right. The image is inspired by the Senegal men’s national football team’s nickname of “Les Lions de la Teranga”
(Lions of Teranga).

The Senegal 2017 Romai home and away kits both have a print of the country’s national flag on their upper, outside back areas. The text “Sénégalaise” is printed on the inside necklines below a stylized lion graphic.

One of only three African teams to reach the FIFA World Cup quarter finals (2002), Senegal currently features a host of well-known players including Kalidou Koulibaly (Napoli),  Cheikhou Kouyaté (West Ham) and Sadio Mané (Liverpool).
