Deportivo Alavés 2016/17 Hummel Home and Away Kits

Deportivo Alavés end their ten year exile from the Spanish La Liga on Sunday when they start their 2016/17 season against Atlético Madrid at the Vicente Calderón Stadium. The team from the Basque Country recently launched their 16/17 home and away kit from Hummel Sport.

Well-received by the club’fans, the Deportivo Alavés 2016/17 home shirt is in their classic blue and white verticl stripes. It is highlighted by a classic polo collar intended to evoke memories of the Alavés kits worn in the early 2000s when the team enjoyed a five season run in La Liga and made it to the final of the 2001 UEFA Cup (now the Europa League).

The sleeve and back of the shirt are mainly blue with a Basque flag apearing in the signoff area. Hummels chevrons runalong the shoulders and down the flanks of the jersey.

The Deportivo Alavés 2016/17 Hummel away jersey is mainly pink. The color pays tribute the to color of the wines and the flag of the province of Álava. It uses the same design as the new home jersey and is accented with blocks of black housing Hummel chevrons on its shoulder and sides.
