Galatasaray SK 2016/17 Nike Home Kit

Galatasaray’s 2016/17 Nike home kit is the first from the Turkish Süper Lig club’s to feature four stars above the team’s badge.

It has been added to the former UEFA Super Cup winners’ winners shirts in recognition of their fortieth major trophy – the 2016 Turkish Cup (Türkiye Kupas).

Galatasaray debuted their 16/17 primary uniform during Saturday’s 5-2 pre-season loss to Manchester United in Göteborg, Sweden.

The latest Galatasaray home jersey uses Nike’s new v-neck AeroSwift shirt design. It features the team’s well-known yellow and burnt red color blocks. A series of horizontal pinstripes runs along the front and back of the shirt except for on a block of red on the back that contains player names and numbers.

Yellow stripes that expand for added ventilation run down the sides of the shirt. It was matched with white shorts and mainly red socks for yesterday’s meeting with Manchester United. It will also be paired with red shorts and yellow socks.

The Galatasaray SK 2016/17 Nike home kit will be available at World Soccer Shop, Kitbag, UK Soccer Shop and Subside Sports.
