An Major League Soccer All-Star team including the likes of Kaka, Andrea Pirlo and Didier Drogba will meet touring Arsenal FC on July 28. A pre-season fixture of The Gunners, the match will be the 2016 AT&T All-Star Game featuring a selection of the league’s best players.
MLS technical partner has released a special edition jersey (available now at Kitbag) for the occasion. A one-off, the shirt is inspired by the traditional blue home kits of 2016 MLS All-Star Game hosts San Jose Earthquakes.
Using the now ubiquitous adidas Condivo 16 jersey design, the has a series of tonal diagonal lines on the front that create a lightning effect. The rest of the front of the shirt is in a lighter shade of blue that the rest of the jersey while the collar and sleeve cuffs and in white and red. The jock tag of the shirt is a commemorative 2016 MLS All-Star game design. The inside neckline has elements of the USA and Canada national flags while the text “Club. Country. Community” is printed on the rear collar.
