Club América 2016/17 Nike Home Jersey

Mexican giants Club América have released their new Nike home jersey ahead of Saturday night’s Liga MX Apertura 2016 opener against Chiapas. The new shirt is the twelve-time Primera División’s 100th Anniversary primary kit. It will be available at Kitbag and UK Soccer Shop.

The Club America 2016/17 Nike home jersey is in the cream of the team’s original uniform from 1916. It features a downward gradient that fades to white to blend with accompanying shorts. Dark blue stripes that expand for ventilation when players are in motion run down the sides of the jersey and continue onto the shorts. The Las Águilas dark blue also appears via a band running along the outer back of the shirt’s rounded neck.

“Centenario de Leyenda” (Centennial of Legend) is printed above the Club América badge. “1916 – 2016” appears below it. Cream colored sock complete the Club America 16/17 home kit.
