Valencia Club de Futbol unveiled their 2016/17 home and away kits from adidas España on Friday. With a weight of only 165 grams, the player issue versions of the jerseys are the lightest Los Che shirts ever.
The six-time Spanish La Liga champions will embark on a pre-season European tour next week wearing their traditional home white and away. Both shirts feature new designs from adidas with the home jersey bearing a classic ribbed rounded neck collar. The black away jersey has a two-buttoned Henley collar. The kits keep with adidas’ 16/17 trend of running their iconic three stripes down the sides of their latest football shirts.
The Valencia CF 2016/17 home kit is matched with orange shirts and white socks. The change uniform is completed by orange shorts and blacks socks.
A bat (inspired by the club’s nickname) with the year of VCF’s founding (1919) within it is printed on the signoff area of the jerseys.
Rebuilding after a disappointing twelfth place La Liga finish, Valencia will meet the likes of Feyenoord Rotterdam, AFC Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and ACF Fiorentina during their upcoming travels.
